Roles
Below are short descriptions of some of my roles in different areas of my life. Each of these means a great deal to me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of them.
Research
I am under the mentorship of Dr. Sara Konrath through the UROP Program at IU Indy. We are conducting a cross-temporal meta-analysis to examine any changes in self-efficacy in American college students from the 1990s to today. Self-efficacy is one's beliefs in their own abilities and influences all aspects of a person's life. Preliminary results are available on the Research page.
Leadership
I currently hold a leadership position as a pet care supervisor at my part-time position at a pet boarding and daycare facility. I am responsible for administering medications to the animals, handling those that require more caution and patience, and keeping records and notes updated throughout the day. I must also distribute tasks amongst team members and monitor their activities/progress for that shift.
Community
I am actively involved in a life group in my small town where I spend time connecting with, supporting, and encouraging other members of my community and their families. As a group, we come together to learn more about our faith and be present for others even if they are not involved in the church.
CITI Research Certifications
I have undergone training to receive Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) certifications. This program is recognized nationally and is considered a standard amongst many organizations. I am very open to applying my skills and gaining new ones in different experiences. The certificates can be downloaded and viewed with the links below.
